Air pollution is affecting our health. Of course we already know this but we didn’t know how badly it affects humans and the ecosystem.
This writer has stated that air pollution causes asthma, lung disease, chronic illness, earth and climate issues, air quality, pollution, and many more. According to the writer’s sources “Worldwide air pollution is responsible for large numbers of deaths and cases of respiratory disease.”
The Clean Air Act in the United States have reduced the presence of some pollutants and many other air pollution control technologies but the costs are high. Research has shown that the greatest sources of air pollution are actually mobile sources, mostly the automobile.
According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) they estimate that 4.6 million people die each year from causes that had been contributed by air pollution. Many of these issues are caused from indoor air pollution. Statistics show ” worldwide more deaths per year are linked to air pollution than to car accidents.
This article is an interesting and worrying text that is very factual and news related. I agree with many of the facts represented and believe that we should do more about this problem. Surely if governments know that more than 4.6 million die each year from causes attributable to air pollution than we would expect to have some kind of resolution.
Although there are many air pollution controlling technolgies, without the money to pay for the equipment and the process of these devices, not much is going to be done about this problem which is a shame as so many people are dying from this cause.
Controlling the amount of air pollution we create will not only save us but our entire ecosystem.
