Short Story Orientations

1. I go back inside after a hard days work of chopping trees. I put my axe on the rack and turn around. I hear a clatter behind me and I look around. The axe is gone. I turn back around and see the axe hovering millimetres from my face.

2. I step into the bath and turn on the water. I put my body in the warm water and lay back. All of a sudden, the water starts to churn and I feel a slithering feeling up my body.
